Pool Acid Washing in Orange County
Some pools go too far for a scrub and a shock treatment. An acid wash strips away the stained surface layer and exposes fresh finish underneath. Below is one we restored, start to finish.

What Is a Pool Acid Wash?
The pool gets drained first. With the surface exposed we can inspect it properly and treat the staining left behind by algae, minerals, or years of sitting.
The wash takes off a very thin layer of the finish, and the stains bonded to that layer go with it. A finish only has so many washes in it. That's why this is an occasional treatment, and why it should be done by someone careful.

Is Your Pool a Candidate?
Old, thinning plaster needs a gentler plan, and the same goes for some specialty finishes. A pool that has been washed several times before needs a careful look too. We inspect first, in your photos or in person, then recommend.
An acid wash removes stains. Cracks and structural problems are separate repairs, and the deepest stains sometimes fade without disappearing completely. We'll tell you what to expect before you commit.
Scale on the waterline tile is a different job. Pool tile cleaning or calcium removal covers that at a smaller price.
